Fox Internship on a loose grip

Fox Intership Lawsuit
Fox  Searchlight Entertainment  is on a small thread after a lawsuit was planted on them. Interns at Fox Searchlight who worked on movies like "Black Swan" and "(500) Days of Summer" state that there were violations of employment. The interns were paid minimum wage and although they over worked, they weren't even paid. In 2008 Fox changed their policy and began paying interns 8$ an hour. Fox is even dragging director of "Black Swan" (Darren Aronofsky) and his production company.  The hearing will be august 24 weather or not it was legally permissible.
Fox Searchlight Entertainment Being sued really caught my eye, This can be drastic depending on the outcome. Fox is big in the entertainment industry, and to have it on the spot can dramatically change the company weather the outcome is good or bad. This could be somewhat of a concern to former interns or future interns working in big company's no matter how big, rich, or famous the company is it could bring unfair situations like this to you.

Although this mainly reflects on Interns in film industry's  it can also reflect production teams, former filmmakers, and future filmmakers like my self. Knowing what ever film industry you're in weather its big or small, they  can still but unfair and unpleasant. The film industry is a big world and if im in a production team endangered of being sued, or a intern at a entertainment company, I wouldn't want to be mistreated.

This still makes me wonder, if any other entertainment companies or any other interns for other companies that are treated this way? What crap do interns deal with everyday. No matter the situation, sometimes you need to stand up for whats right and whats wrong.
